No person shall engage in the business or profession or tree trimming or tree surgery in the city without having first obtained a license as hereinafter required. Such license shall be issued by the city clerk upon written application therefor approved by the governing body, and payment of annual license fee of $25.00. Such license shall expire one year from the date issued. No refund shall be made of such license.

All persons engaged in tree trimming in the city shall file with the city clerk a certificate of insurance stating that the person currently has in effect minimum liability insurance in the minimal amount of $100,000 single limit liability.
